Empowering Daughters of God

Point of View; everyone has one!  I find it truly interesting to listen to points of view that aren't mine!  An idea that has always kept my attention is that of the Human Library.  Human Library is a non-profit organization that hosts events where one can " check out ", or " borrow " a person for a conversation rather than a book.  Their aim is to challenge prejudices and stereotypes through conversation.  People volunteer to share their personal experiences and perspectives on a topic.  They are the " human books ".  People can ask them questions and engage in an open dialogue. This seems like it could be a productive way to learn and grow.   It reminds me of the old idiom: walk a mile in someone else's shoes.   I try to tune into Pod casters, shows, or even books that I might not agree with.  I have a desire to understand where others are coming from.  I also really dislike the way we are always divided.  There is so mu...

The reverberations of what this film lacks ECHOS, ECHOS, ECHOS through the empty theater!  The hollowness of this movie's story line, and characters echo throughout the film!  Too bad the wishing well couldn't fix that! Thousands of critics have said " it's not the worst movie I've seen......but "......I'll add my voice to that! That "BUT" is a big one! Yeah, maybe it's not the worst movie ever made, but the fact that people expected it would be says a lot!  I think since this movie was announced, it has seemed like a train wreck people just can't look away from!  Some critics say it was the train wreck they expected with others saying that it was bad, but not the train wreck they expected! Okay, all politics aside, all bias aside, I really was hoping for a great love story and sound, or at least, coherent story line!  I really wanted this movie to be something that could be different, but at the same time embody the original in an honor...
