I have recently been inspired to write about choices and perhaps why we make the choices that we do.  Often times I have pondered on why the same question can be prayed about by multiple people and each person can receive a different answer.  I do believe there are some things that are black and white, but there are many that are not.  Maybe it depends on our own personal beliefs, maybe our sincerity in asking and seeking the answer, or maybe it is our level of knowledge and understanding.  There is always a good, better and best option, but in order to choose the best option we must work our way up and gain more knowledge and perspective.  Heavenly Father is the master teacher and He does work in mysterious ways.  Sometimes we might think that the best option is obvious because we are following the council of the prophet or common practices in the church, but sometimes the best option is more complicated than that.  There is truth in the statement "...

What happens after Happily Ever After?  It's a good question, a question that has been on my mind since flipping through the pages of The Art of Frozen II.  Yes, Frozen 2 is my new favorite Disney movie, and yes I'm a geek and bought the book "The Art of Frozen II", haha!  I didn't buy it just because I loved the movie, but I am also fascinated by all of the behind the scenes stuff of great movies!  In this book there is a page that says "After.....Happily Ever After".  The creators of the movie posed the question "What happens after Happily Ever After?"  This was their starting point for Frozen 2.  Since studying that page and having that question sitting on the back burner of my mind I have thought about my own life and just this past year.  Many funny thoughts have come to mind like when my husband asks if I want to go out and all I can say is "I want my bed".  When we were dating we would stay up all night long if it meant we co...

There is always HOPE, that was my mantra for awhile during my college years.  HOPE stands for Hear Our Praise Extend.  It was an audition choir group at Southern Utah University Institute of Religion.  There were other choirs that were not audition groups and anyone and everyone was welcome whether you could sing or not!  You did not have to be a member of the church to be in HOPE, but had to be living your life in such a way that you could get a temple recommend.  This group did many religious and non religious performances.  It was a show choir which meant singing and dancing!  One semester I decided I wanted to be in this group and got up the courage to try out.  I made it!  It was a great experience and I loved it!  It provided me with great strength and an outlet during a time in my life when I truly needed it!  Clearly you did not have to be the best singer to get in, but it was competitive so you did have to show some talen...
